1994 - 2005 Ninja 500 Taillight assembly
No questions have been asked. This unit is fully functional, all wiring is
healthy and all plastics are still good (no cracks, breaking). One of the retaining bolts
was epoxied into place after it spun loose, and it will hold until hell freezes over because
of the high-strength putty-style contractors' epoxy I use.

Q: What bikes will it work in?
A: It'll work in any motorcycle, since all motorcycles use oil and the gauge is specifically designed for
open-cockpit/all-weather exposure; the high temp range was originally spec'd for our in-house use in 98-05 oil-air cooled Suzuki's (Katana, Bandit, GSXF).

Q: what is the size and thread pitch on the sender and face size of the gauge?
A: 1-5/8" visible face size (i.e. - the measurement across the
clear portion of the lens over the gauge). As per the description, the sender is uses a
standard size called 1/8-27NPT, which is approximately 3/8" across (raised thread edge to
raised thread edge). Unlike straight taps, an NPT (National Pipe Thread Standard) tap is actually
slightly beveled to ensure a leak-proof fit when the item is screwed in.
